I studied visual arts, sculpture and engraving in Brussels and Liège in Belgium; After a degree in anthropology, and a lecture on sadhus in India, I moved to Vietnam, Senegal, Laos and recently Cambodia.
During my years abroad, I continued my research in engraving and visual art alongside constant training in the practices of traditional crafts and the culture of the countries that welcomed me. Many artists trained me in printmaking and other traditional techniques. I tried to integrate the life and culture around me into my technique. Moving from prints on fabric (dyeing, weaving, embroidery), to ceramics, lacquer and Hand made paper. I create small objects, impressions that reflect a new world. A poetic space that revisits everyday life.
 
Through my research, I perfected and adapted my knowledge in lithography (bic drawing on offset plate, litho pencil drawing on aluminum paper), screen printing (flour-based ink and natural colors), linography (plastic compensated) in drypoint and carborundum (printing on silk). Continually, I taught and shared my knowledge in workshops and at school.
 
I like to research, experiment and let myself be surprised by the connection between elements, shapes and materials. In my career as an engraver I experimented with the assembly of engraving with textile creation (printed sculptures, dying), paper (cut, engraving integrated into the paper or paper poured onto the engraving), ink (natural ink to tea and herbal tea base), lacquer (engraving and insertion). Over time, the assembly process takes up more and more space in my work. The impression can then be only the beginning, the beginning of the work in progress.
 
Living in several countries has marked the way I look at the world. I try to express this strange feeling of imbalance that we feel when we are neither at home nor elsewhere, a country where we were born, a country where we are welcomed. We feel floating; we feel between memory and a reality that is not for us.

Leaving aboard  is the discovery of culture and beliefs. I immerse myself in the mythology of each country as well as in the color of their landscapes.
 
Which is in a space between the visible world that my work tries to express. Through color, engraving, material, I try to give shape to this world filled with ghosts, spirits, doubles, hidden energy. A space where time is no longer linear; memories are reappropriated, hopes are mixed. I try to express this non-visual through my engravings.
